Purdue Pete and the terrible, horrible, no-good, very bad day

The day started off bad for Purdue Pete before the Michigan State game on Saturday. A little after 11 a.m. Purdue Pete was in the back of a cart with other students being driven up Stadium crossing over Martin Jischke Drive going toward the baseball fields. A female officer from Tippecanoe Emergency Management (Department of Homeland Security) was directing traffic in all directions at that intersection. She had given the go-ahead for them to proceed.
Purdue Pete’s cart proceeded to cross when a male officer from the same agency screamed out very loudly and in a hostile manner, “What the F**k are you doing?” The officer laid into them.
This officer clearly did not see the female officer give the OK to go-ahead. Other pedestrians also saw her give the go-ahead.
The officer was way out of line with his cursing and hostile attitude. He should apologize to Purdue Pete, the student driving and the other student in the cart. An anger management class might not be a bad idea either. How about giving the students a break, especially since they did nothing wrong?
Then to make the day even worse for poor Purdue Pete, Ralph Bolden gives Pete a hug to celebrate a touchdown and the ref throws a flag for celebrating. Poor Purdue Pete can’t get a break this day.
