Request via FAX: 765-743-6087

In your request letter you should include the following information:

  • The headline title of the photo, story, column or editorial, the date of publication, the page of publication and the author or photographer.
  • What the intended purpose of the reprint is (as part of a class handout, for an overhead in a class discussion, as part of a newsletter, etc.).
  • How the photo, story, column or editorial will be used (in what context, what other material may surround it when reprinted, how the piece will be used, whether the reprinted material will be sold in any way as part of a manuscript, book or handout).

Generally speaking, authorization will be premitted for education purposes, but not commercial purposes. You may not reprint material that appeared in the Exponent or on its web page without written permission. This policy includes copying articles for mass distribution (five or more free-standing copies).

Poll

How do you feel about the new privacy settings on Facebook, especially in regard to what Google can do?

  • Satisfied. I like having control over my info and how it is shared.
  • Uneasy. It is complex, and I am still not sure what can be viewed publicly.
  • Indifferent. I either did not know about the change in settings, or else I do not care that they changed.
